Three responsibilities, clearly separated
Robrix2 is the client where people read, write, and follow conversations. Palpo is the Matrix homeserver that carries accounts, rooms, and events. Hagency runs coding agents and maintains their tasks and execution state.
You can adopt each project independently. A Matrix client does not need a coding-agent runtime, and Hagency’s Matrix bridge is optional. The combined system connects these existing responsibilities.
Choose a practical first step
For a conversation-first evaluation, install a published Robrix2 package and use a homeserver with native Sliding Sync. For agent operations, start Hagency on a supported local host. For infrastructure, evaluate Palpo with a separate test database and domain.
- Client path: Robrix2 + a compatible homeserver.
- Agent path: Hagency + your configured coding runtime.
- Integrated path: a tested combination of all three development revisions.
Keep versions explicit
Published packages and the September 8 integration builds are different baselines. Download a release for its documented capabilities. Follow a development guide only with the referenced compatible revisions; combining arbitrary latest branches is not a verified installation.
